CEDEER CAMO began with a shared love of hunting and a belief in the connections people build outdoors. Co-founded by Jason Cowman and the late Dave Mayo, the brand launched in 2024. Their work brought together a passion for the field, respect for fellow veterans and a desire to create something meaningful for the hunting community.
Today, that foundation continues to shape CEDEER CAMO. We offer camouflage clothing, layering pieces and field accessories for hunters preparing for their next trip, whether that means an early-season sit, a cold morning in the woods or time spent exploring new ground.

Experience that starts in the field
Co-founder Jason Cowman has been a bowhunter since the early 1990s. He owned and operated a Kentucky hunting outfitter for four years, helping others pursue their hunting goals and learning firsthand what hunters look for in their equipment and their time outdoors.
His hunting experience spans North America, from whitetail deer in multiple states to black bears in Canada, along with axis deer, fallow deer, rams and wild hogs. He also competes in 3D archery tournaments and participates in Total Archery Challenge events. Those experiences, and the conversations that come with them, keep him connected to the people CEDEER CAMO serves.
Camouflage with a purpose
The places we hunt shape the gear we choose. CEDEER CAMO focuses on landscape-specific camouflage for surroundings ranging from Southern swamps and Midwestern woods to Western mountains. Our approach brings camouflage and lightweight layering together, with comfort, durability and protection as priorities.

Every hunt begins with preparation. Our collection gives you a place to build your clothing system, from Ovis base layers and Arctic mid layers to Carnivore and Polar Attack outer layers and Osprey rain gear. Shirts, pants, gloves and other accessories help you put together the pieces for your time in the field.

As hunters ourselves, we understand the balance between choosing the equipment you need and making your budget work.
Service, family and community
Jason is a retired U.S. Army first sergeant who served for 23 years, completed five combat deployments and earned three Bronze Stars. A disabled veteran, husband and father of three, he continues to make service part of everyday life.
Away from hunting and competitive archery, he coaches youth sports and serves on the board of Warrior Muskie Hunt, a Kentucky nonprofit that provides free fishing and hunting trips for veterans. He also works to raise awareness of veteran suicide and the importance of connection and support within the veteran community.
Honoring Dave Mayo
Dave Mayo played an essential role in bringing CEDEER CAMO to life. His contribution remains part of the brand's story, and we honor his memory as we carry their shared work forward. For Jason, supporting fellow veterans and helping people find community outdoors is also a deeply personal commitment.
